The Sounds Collection

Ages ago now, I bought a load of old Alan Moore strips from Sounds magazine on eBay. They are all from his The Stars My Degradation period. I wanted to do something with them, and got in touch with Stan from 4ColorHeroes, who was very interested. Much time passed, while I tried to find a lost scanner, and I'm sure he thought I'd forgotten, or given up on it, or whatever. However, I finally got a new scanner, scanned them all, and sent them off. Stan wrote to me this morning to tell me that my 39 strips are now online, and that he's putting the word out to try to eventually get a complete collection of Alan's Sounds strips online.

You can see the first few strips online here. I've already bought more old copies of the magazine, and will be sending them his way as time allows.

As Stan says, Alan Moore’s work from Sounds is his largest body of work that remains uncollected or reprinted at this point, so I think this is a project that is well worth pursuing. Anyone than can help will be very warmly welcomed!
